As a matter of fact, was at my parents house today and had to use their magic mouse… so uncomfortable. I guess I’m just too used to trackpad gestures at this point.
Umm… Hello! Frickin’ Nice! Where’d you get that monitor rig? That looks professional, clean and sweet! Never thought of two magic pads, but that looks like a great solution to reduce CTS/RSI woes.
The monitor on the left is a three year old 24″ Acer, and the right one is an older 27″ Apple Cinema display (non Thunderbolt.)
The mount is a Bretford MobilePro. I really like it, and it’s extremely heavy-duty and the arms are strong and flexible.
The Machine itself is a 2010 Mac Mini with 8GB, and a 128GB Intel SSD. It’s totally acceptable for a daily work machine and media server rolled into one.
What’s it like having two magic pads and no mouse? Been debating on getting one – though I don’t know if I could ever ditch the traditional mouse.
It took a few days to adjust, but now it feels totally natural. Haven’t switched back to the Magic Mouse yet.
I went to magic trackpad a while back. Love it.
